bio: Spira Mirabilis is a new band in the Seattle scene formed by two ex-members of The Charles Bonnet Syndrome. We are currently just two members, and have been working on this album project for about half a year now. Our goal is to produce an eclectic and textured rock sound, taking bits of influence from several genres and combining them together. Lyrically, we are focused on current political and social issues, and would like to bring a greater awareness of these issues through the music. At the time being, as we have done all the songwriting on our own, the drums are programmed using Reason 3.0, and will be replaced with actual drums once an actual drummer is found. Same goes for any cheezy MIDI-synth representing the strings, and clarinets impersonating trumpets.
