bio: Katie Turner is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, electronic music producer and vocalist. Originally inspired by Information Society at age 13 and further inspired by Nine Inch Nails, Moby, DJ Rap, Tori Amos and Imogen Heap, Katie has spent the better part of the last 2 decades dreaming, singing, producing and playing various types of music with a focus on electronics.
Industrial, techno, pop, trip-hop, synthpop, darkwave - her music incorporates all of these styles and puts a singer/songwriter slant on them. With eclectic styles, honest lyrics and wonderfully fun and powerful music, Katie is not your ordinary, everyday electronic musician.
